As our classrooms and schools become more and more rubricated, maybe we need to slow down just a little to think about that rubric. What, exactly, is a rubric for? How does it really help students with learning? How might our rubric design actually hurt student performance? Other considerations will be discussed. Please note, this is a discussion and may not provide solid "solutions."
