Yes, one person can make a difference in the world!  Malala Yousafzai spoke before the United Nations about the need for girls to obtain an education.  Salva Dut, leader of the Lost Sudanese Boys, helped bring water to Sudan.  These stories and other YA literature stories will be shared by Iowa State University students in describing how young adult literature can help students research or act upon social justice issues.  Come learn how to inspire your students toward action!
